Editing your Boosted Post

As your ads begin to reach more people, your audience engagement is likely to increase. At that time, you may want to increase your budget or extend the time your ad will run. One way to do this is to edit your ad and make the necessary changes.

Facebook enables you to edit certain parts of your ads, such as your budget, duration and audience characteristics, after it’s published. To make edits to live ads from your Business Page, follow these steps:

Step 1: Ad Center

Select Ad Center from the left menu.

Step 2: Identify the Ad you would like to Edit

Identify the ad you want to edit from the Ads section. Click the three dots (. . .) and select Edit ad.

Step 3: Edit your Ad

You can make changes to the ad creative, audience, budget, schedule and payment method.

Step 4: Save your Changes

When you’re done making edits, select Save changes.

Remember that once you make changes, your ad will be submitted for review again. You should get notified via email and on Facebook within 24 hours whether your edited ad has been approved.
